Dr. Edie Glantz possesses a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of neurology. Dr. Edie Glantz earned her bachelor's degree in biology at Rice University and subsequently earned an MD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She later pursued further training at University of California, Irvine, with a post-MD internship, completed her neurology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) - West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she served as neurology service chief resident, and undertook an electromyography (EMG) fellowship at UCLA Medical Center from 1996 to 1997.
Throughout her professional career, Dr. Edie Glantz has held a number of significant roles, including CEO at Ophthalmology and Neurology Assoc, PC, where she provided compassionate neurological care to patients. She also managed a professional practice in Astoria, Oregon, from 1997 to 2010. In addition, she served as CFO at Foresight Optical, Inc, where she managed staffing, sales, and financials. She also facilitated the company’s acquisition by Casey Eye Institute in 2010.
For the past 13 years, Dr. Glantz has worked as a neurologic consultant in the Bay Area, California. She also evaluates and provides medical assessments for US military veterans with neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
